This policy (together with our User Terms and Conditions) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
WHO WE ARE
This website www.GiveitAPP.org and the mobile app called "GiveitAPP" (together, the "Site") are owned and operated by Jigga Investments Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 09542854 with its registered office 6th Floor Charles House, 108-110 Finchley Road, London NW3 5JJ ("GiveitAPP", "we", "our", and "us").
For the purpose of data protection laws, Jigga Investments Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller under Registration Number: ZA498876.
INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
When you register on the Site we may ask for information such as your name, email address, postal address, contact and Gift Aid details, and then we keep a record of this information. This is necessary so that we can recognise you as a registered user, pass on the correct details with your donation and ensure that you are happy with the service you receive. You can choose to donate anonymously, in which event your information won't be passed on to the charity.
We keep a record of any donation you make using GiveitAPP. This means we and the charity can help to deal more quickly with any queries or problems you may have, and also so we can ensure that any information that we send to you is relevant.
The donations you make via GiveitAPP - ‘donation strings’ - appear in several places (your profile, charity profile, profiles of other users involved in the donation). We retain this information unless you request that it be removed. Please note that some information must be retained in order for us to fulfil our service to charities, for example address details and details of your donations under Gift Aid.
We keep a record of any email correspondence you send us, so we can track any problems or concerns you've raised.
We'll also ask you questions at registration, and from time to time by email, that will give us information that will be used to improve your experience of donating using GiveitAPP. You do not have to answer these questions, but if you do we can communicate with you in a more relevant way.
This Site is not intended for use by children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION
All the information we collect via the Site, or through correspondence with you, is used to operate and improve the service we offer you and to personalise our service. We only use your personal information for the following:
- Passing on your information to our fundraising provider JustGiving and the charity you have donated to, so that they can respond to your donation and open a conversation with you if they choose to.
- Planning and managing GiveitAPP's donor activities, including analysis of donor's giving habits, product and style preferences.
- Technical administration of the Site.
- Providing you with information about the services we offer.
- Letting you know about any news from GiveitAPP.
- Occasionally letting you know about offers from charities which we believe may interest you.
- To verify details of your payment method or credit card account.
During your registration process you are given the opportunity to select some of the ways in which we may use your details. This can be amended at any time by managing your settings in your account or contacting us.
The legal basis for our use and disclosure of your personal information is that it is in our legitimate interests to create and manage your account with us, to facilitate your donations to charities and to communicate with you about your account.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Circumstances where we may share some of your data with others:

- To HMRC in connection with Gift Aid.
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation.
Please note that we cannot reflect any changes in your consent preferences that you make directly with JustGiving or a charity. For example, if you opt in to receive emails from JustGiving or a charity when you make a donation, but then you subsequently opt out by telling JustGiving or the charity, we won’t have a record that you opted out of receiving email from JustGiving or that charity.
