GiveitAPP - Privacy Policy

This policy (together with our User Terms and Conditions) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

WHO WE ARE

This website www.GiveitAPP.org and the mobile app called "GiveitAPP" (together, the "Site") are owned and operated by Jigga Investments Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 09542854 with its registered office 6th Floor Charles House, 108-110 Finchley Road, London NW3 5JJ ("GiveitAPP", "we", "our", and "us").

For the purpose of data protection laws, Jigga Investments Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller under Registration Number: ZA498876.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

When you register on the Site we may ask for information such as your name, email address, postal address, contact and Gift Aid details, and then we keep a record of this information. This is necessary so that we can recognise you as a registered user, pass on the correct details with your donation and ensure that you are happy with the service you receive. You can choose to donate anonymously, in which event your information won't be passed on to the charity.

We keep a record of any donation you make using GiveitAPP. This means we and the charity can help to deal more quickly with any queries or problems you may have, and also so we can ensure that any information that we send to you is relevant.

The donations you make via GiveitAPP - ‘donation strings’ - appear in several places (your profile, charity profile, profiles of other users involved in the donation). We retain this information unless you request that it be removed. Please note that some information must be retained in order for us to fulfil our service to charities, for example address details and details of your donations under Gift Aid.

We keep a record of any email correspondence you send us, so we can track any problems or concerns you've raised.

We'll also ask you questions at registration, and from time to time by email, that will give us information that will be used to improve your experience of donating using GiveitAPP. You do not have to answer these questions, but if you do we can communicate with you in a more relevant way.

This Site is not intended for use by children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
